With Autobahn for iTunes we dramatically improved download speeds through the iTunes store. The latest version of the Autobahn Accelerator makes streaming video through MySpaceTV faster and more reliable.
While MySpaceTV doesn’t require users to be logged in to view content, Autobahn will improve the streaming performance of any embedded video hosted by MySpaceTV, whether it’s on MySpace or across the web.
We have released this functionality in Beta, and you can redeem your code or put your name on the list for an invite at http://www.getautobahn.com/beta/myspace If you already have Autobahn Accelerator for iTunes downloaded, don’t worry. When you download Autobahn Accelerator for MySpaceTV you’ll get acceleration for both iTunes and MySpaceTV.

Congrats to Swarmcast and the Autobahn creation. I am looking forward to more tests with Flash 8 video files, but so far it is impressive. It looks like I will be able to share my live animation videos with viewers who are Autobahn-enabled, at full sizes and 2-5 Mbps download speeds, making compression less necessary.
And it looks like this is just the beginning. Once I get a little more experienced, I’ll be putting up a page where you can look at several Flash progressive downloads simply created and put on the server.
